Will Earzz recognise all types of sounds within each sound selection?

Our AI models are trained to detect a wide variety of different types of sounds within each sound category. However, there may be sound types that may not be detected. We try to overcome this challenge by constantly training up our AI models with new sound variations, and also adding new sound categories entirely. Please do contact us via support@earzz.co.uk if you have any questions.

Do I need bluetooth on my mobile device in order to pair with my Earzz device?

Yes, bluetooth must be enabled on your mobile device using the Earzz mobile app in order to pair with your Earzz device.

Is Earzz waterproof?

Earzz is designed for indoor use only, and not waterproof. More details can be found in the tech specs.

Where can I place my Earzz device to listen out for all the sounds that I want and What is the range of Earzz?

We recommend that you place your Earzz device next to or close enough to the source of the sounds that you wish to listen for, this would ensure that the Earzz device is able to pick up sounds of interest. Finally, please ensure the device is not obstructed or covered, or placed next to the TV or any loud sources of noise. More details on best practices are included in the manual of the device. Earzz devices are not to be placed near or on top any hot and wet surfaces as they are not designed to be waterproof. We advise that you place Earzz as close as possible to the sounds' sources. In reality, detection ability would depend on a number of factors such as loudness of the sound, existing noise within the environment and the usage. The Earzz device won’t work if it is inappropriately used, for example, if the microphone is blocked, if it is used in a noisy environment, or if it has been damaged.
